Family drama en route to America

The 29th round of Cinequest Film & Creativity Festival in the US is to play host to ‘Bubble’ by Ronak Taher.

‘Bubble’ is an Iran-Australia joint production dealing with family issues.  

“In the midst of a family crisis, a young couple is forced to review all their past decisions,” the plot summary reads.

Cinequest is one of the most important independent festivals in the United States and also an Academy Award-qualifying festival.  

Voted best film festival by USA Today readers, the Cinequest Film Festival is an annual independent film festival that –according its official website – “has led the world in its showcase and implementation of the innovations that have revolutionized creativity and filmed media.”

The festival will take place on March 5-17, 2019 in San Jose and Redwood City of the US.
